New director MI-Partners

After having been director of MI-Partners for more than 13 years, Leo Sanders will hand over his position to Ronald Schneider, who will take over the role of Director of MI-Partners, starting from 1-7-2020.
Leo Sanders, founder and major shareholder, will continue to be intensely involved with MI-Partners. He will focus more on supporting internal processes and maintaining the network of customers, suppliers and other partners.
Ronald Schneider has been working at MI-Partners since its inception. In his current role he leads several projects, manages several clients and leads the mechanical competence group. Ronald will also be responsible for the general management from 1 July onward.
With this change of management, a new era is dawning for MI-Partners, in which we want to support our customers, not only with our strong system architecture, dynamics and precision mechanics competencies, but now also with electronics and software architecture. Our new location with good infrastructure and cleanrooms will also contribute to MI-Partners becoming an increasingly important player in the field of mechatronics.

ASPE Session on Feedforward Spectral Tuning

During the ASPE 2020 Spring topical meeting on Design and Control of Precision Mechatronic Systems, Dr. Ir. Leon Jabben will give a lecture on Feedforward spectral tuning and using iterative learning control for automated parameter fitting.

The lecture will be on Thursday May 7, From 1:30PM-3:00PM (Eastern Daylight Time).

New facility

MI-Partners has moved to a new facility end of 2019. This new facility MI-Partners fits perfectly in the growth and the ambition of the company.  This new building shows the identity of the company: young, dynamic and innovative. With >3000 m² floor area there is sufficient office space and meeting rooms to have all projects running smoothly at MI-Partners. Even more impressive is the large assembly space, including a cleanroom, measurement area and large storage space. With this new building MI-Partners is ready for the future. We hope to welcome you soon!

P-stage 2 to Zeiss

The second P-stage system is transported to Zeiss in Oberkochen. Thereby a big milestone has reached in this incredible 3FM project. A cheering team is celebrating this highlight.  In the coming months the integration of the P-stage in the overall 3FM machine will be realized.

The celebration of the opening of the new facility has been a great success. All guests were shown around through the office spaces and assembly rooms. During the drinks director Leo Sanders presented a brief history of MI-Partners referring as well to the small corridor on which it all started 12 years ago with MI-Partners. Impressive how much has changed over the years! For those who were not able to join this event, feel free to bring us a visit and see for yourselves!
